How Do I Join the Church?
If you are interested in joining the church, we are glad to help! At the conclusion of every Worship Service is a time of invitation, where you may respond and join First Baptist Church. Why Join the Church?
The local church exists to display God’s glory to the nations. It’s a group of Christians who regularly gather in Christ’s name to officially affirm and oversee one another’s allegiance to Jesus Christ and His Kingdom through Gospel preaching and Gospel ordinances (Believers Baptism and Lord’s Supper). The church begins with this fact: Jesus is Savior AND Lord. He has died on the cross for the sins of everyone who would believe and follow Him. We do that by fixing our eyes on the Gospel of Jesus Christ, trusting Him for salvation, and then loving one another with God’s own holiness, unity and love.
