Colossians 1:27-28, "God wanted to make known among the Gentiles the glorious wealth of his mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. We proclaim him, warning and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone mature in Christ."
Our Mission
Our mission for the student ministry at First Baptist is to partner with parents in training and equipping students to grow into mature disciples of Jesus Christ. Grounded in Colossians 1:27-28, we seek to proclaim Christ by teaching and discipling students so that Christ is shaped within them. As we grow together in spiritual maturity, we desire to send them out faithfully to share the gospel across the streets, states, and seas.
We aim to accomplish this through:
TEXT DRIVEN TEACHING - OUR WEEKLY WEDNESDAY NIGHT GATHERING
SMALL GROUPS - SUNDAY MORNING AND WEDNESDAY NIGHTS
INTENTIONAL EVENTS - SUCH AS: STRENGTH TO STAND, DNOW WEEKEND, AND SUMMER CAMP
